Senior 2D Unity Animator

Design
Easybrain is looking for a Senior 2D Unity Animator who will own the animation quality of game mechanics and interfaces across our products used by millions of players daily. In this role, you will not only create animations, but also shape game feel, improve usability, and elevate the overall player experience through great animations. We value animators who think in terms of product impact, challenge existing solutions, and propose better ones. Join us and make games people love!

Responsibilities:
- Developing high-quality 2D animations for game mechanics, UI, and UX feedback in Unity and Spine;
- Own animation quality from concept to final implementation in the product;
- Create and fine-tune VFX and particle systems to enhance clarity and emotional response;
- Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to solve product and UX problems through animation;
- Improve and maintain animation pipelines and best practices across various projects;
- Present, justify, and iterate on animation solutions based on feedback and product goals.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator in Unity-based projects;
- Good experience with Spine;
- Excellent visual taste and a strong sense of timing, easing, and game feel;
- Solid understanding of how animation impacts usability, clarity, and player perception;
- Strong ownership and proactive approach: ability to initiate and drive improvements beyond given tasks, focusing on product quality and player experience;
- Ability to edit and prepare art assets for animation in Photoshop;
- Strong technical understanding of animation optimization and performance in Unity;
- Ability to work efficiently with a large volume of content without losing quality and consistency;
- Good market understanding.

Will Be a Plus:
- Experience with DoTween;
- Experience with Visual Effect Graph;
- Basic or advanced shader development experience;
- Ability to create custom VFX sprites from scratch;
- Experience with 3D Animations.
